Ellen Gözel-Niehoff, also known as Madame Gözel, is an illustrator based in Enschede, Overijssel, the Netherlands. She graduated in 2002 with a degree in graphic design and illustration from the Minerva Art Academy in Groningen. After working as a designer for several years, she rekindled her passion for painting and began illustrating her ‘Happy Places’. Her work has since been featured in various Dutch magazines, and she has also launched her own Etsy shop.
