Shannon is an Irish illustrator, avid doodler, and tea drinker.
Drawing on inspiration from traditional printmaking, cubism and mid-century illustration she incorporates, defined flat shapes, expressive traditional texture and a focus on compelling colour palettes to create her illustrative work that explores emotion over physical accuracy. Her work focuses on the realm between the real and the imaginary in an attempt to tell a story that exists in the magic within the mundane. When she isn’t making art, she can be found befriending neighbourhood dogs, planting something in her garden or under a pile of cozy blankets with a good book.
